				<title>Joe Nickell</title>
				<link>http://play.callisto.fm/podcasts/by/Nigel_Aves/in/Rational-Alchemy-Podcasts/episode/Joe-Nickell/</link>
				<description>I was very pleased to be joined by Joel Guttormson, president of the Metro State Atheists in interviewing Joe Nickell! Joe Nickell is a renowned paranormal investigator, author, and senior Research Fellow for the Center For Inquiry. He joined us in studio early (you can tell how early by the state of my voice) Thursday morning to discuss paranormal investigation, the traps that skeptics fall into, the Shroud of Turin, and much more.
&Acirc;&nbsp;
I&#039;d also like to thank Sara Diaz, President of University of Colorado Denver Atheists for organizing Joe Nickell&#039;s speaking appearances at Colorado State University and Metro State College, without which this interview would not have been possible.
&Acirc;&nbsp;
And on a personal note: I just interviewed Joe NIckell! This was very difficult for me, the only thing running through my head during this was, &quot;Holy crap, that&#039;s Joe Nickell!&quot;, which made it very hard to concentrate! He&#039;s been interviewed by Oprah, Larry King, Maury Povich, and now, in what he will no doubt consider the pinnacle of his long and distinguished career, me. Joe, thanks so much for being on the show. It was a genuine thrill.
&Acirc;&nbsp;
*** In the podcast i incorrectly referred to Sara Diaz as a member of Metro State Atheists. Sara is actually President of University of Colorado Denver Atheists. My apologies.

				<title>Rational Alchemy 12/12/2009</title>
				<link>http://play.callisto.fm/podcasts/by/Nigel_Aves/in/Rational-Alchemy-Podcasts/episode/Rational-Alchemy-12122009/</link>
				<description>Today we present some excellent audio that Jeff Wagg recorded at UNLV. The discussion follows many tangents and for now, I&#039;ll leave them as a surprise. Rational Alchemy would like to thank Kelli Jacobson, Tim Walker, Paul Turner, Kurt Regner and Alex Jacobson from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Rebel Secular Student Society for participating in this show. They are members of the first UNLV secular/atheist group on campus, and can be reached at http://www.rebelsss.com.
&Acirc;&nbsp;
*** The text above was originally, in a slightly modified form, included as a voice over at the beginning of this podcast. You will notice it is absent now. Where did it go? I haven&#039;t a clue. No idea. However, I noticed this only after I had uploaded and released the podcast. Huh. I&#039;ll try to fix it soon.

				<description>We have a great show tonight! Jeff and I discuss the news of the skeptical world since we were last together, but tonight we have a special surprise. Tonight Rational Alchemy features the world premier of Fingers In The Pie the new song by Steve Craig! Steve plays John Lennon in The Fab Four Live at the V Theater in Las Vegas. We would like to Thank Steve for allowing us to air this song. I&#039;m sure you&#039;ll all like it as much as I did!

This version is slightly longer than the broadcast version and includes some language and discussion that may be NSFW. Not enough for an explicit tag, but you should be warned.

				<link>http://play.callisto.fm/podcasts/by/Nigel_Aves/in/Rational-Alchemy-Podcasts/episode/Rational-Alchemy-12262009/</link>
				<description>This week was part one of a two part year in review. I was joined in studio by Nigel Aves and Kai Haswell, events coordinator for Leaders In Free Thought at Colorado State University and author of the Metaskeptic blog, for a special, rare live episode. This episode is presented unedited, exactly as it aired live.

				<link>http://play.callisto.fm/podcasts/by/Nigel_Aves/in/Rational-Alchemy-Podcasts/episode/Rational-Alchemy-01022010/</link>
				<description>This week brings the final half of our look back at 2009. As with the first half, there are sure to be many stories we missed or avoided. This list was mostly the stories of the past year that interested or entertained us the most. This week I was joined by Jeff Wagg and Nigel Aves. We at Rational Alchemy hope everyone has a better one than last year!
&Acirc;&nbsp;
This episode is presented unedited, exactly as it aired live. Including that awkward bit at the end where the next DJ was a tad late.

				<link>http://play.callisto.fm/podcasts/by/Nigel_Aves/in/Rational-Alchemy-Podcasts/episode/Rational-Alchemy-01092010/</link>
				<description>This week, for the first time ever, we took live calls. The topic of the night was a conversation about the problems, issues, and dogmatism is Skepticism. For the most part, we stayed on topic. This was a blast and we intend it to be the first of very many live call-in episodes. Thanks to everyone who participated via the phones, Twitter, and the chat room.

				<description>This week, Dr. Eugenie Scott was good enough to sit down with me to record an interview during her recent trip to Colorado State University. Dr. Scott is the Executive Director of the National Center For Science Education and a fierce defender of science in schools. More Information about Dr. Scott and the NCSE can be found below.
