<title>[Review] iCarbons Dark Wood Skin for the Wii [Video]</title>
				<link>http://play.callisto.fm/podcasts/by/thetecherra/in/The-Tech-Erra-Podcast/episode/Review-iCarbons-Dark-Wood-Skin-for-the-Wii-Video/</link>
<description>This dark wood skin looks amazing on my Wii, and it actually looks quite like wood (aside from the white gaps&Acirc;&nbsp;in-between&Acirc;&nbsp;each skin). It provides good scratch protection, and makes the Wii look unique. All of this is thanks to iCarbons, who create skins that are available in a number of different finishes for a plethora of devices.&Acirc;&nbsp;Their dark wood skin for the Nintendo Wii was sent out for review and retails for $34.95.

The skin takes some time to install depending on the device. Fortunately, iCarbons provides many videos showing you how to install their skins correctly. The process took me roughly 30 minutes. I would&Acirc;&nbsp;highly&Acirc;&nbsp;recommend&Acirc;&nbsp;watching their installation video before installing the skin. The process is rather easy, but it just takes a bit of time. The skin can be&Acirc;&nbsp;reapplied&Acirc;&nbsp;if you do not line it up correctly, and I had to reapply one side of the skin about five times until it was right.
My main concern was that one of the sides didn&acirc;€™t not line up correctly, so I wasn&acirc;€™t able to open up my SD card slot without it coming undone (view the video below to see a visual). Although, if you do not use the SD card slot, it is not a big&Acirc;&nbsp;hassle. Otherwise, everything else lines up and works fine.
Overall, I would recommend checking out iCarbons and their skins because I really enjoy this particular one, and their prices are reasonable.&Acirc;&nbsp; The only con I can think of is that they can take quite a bit of time in terms of the installation process, but that should be expected.

				<title>ZipBuds: Tangle Resistant Earbuds – CES 2012</title>
				<link>http://play.callisto.fm/podcasts/by/geekazine/in/Geekazine-Video-Pod/episode/ZipBuds-Tangle-Resistant-Earbuds-CES-2012/</link>
<description>One of the most annoying things to do is try and keep your headphones from getting tangled in your bag. In the four years I&#039;ve been going to CES, I have seen many different &quot;de-tangle&quot; options. But is this one going to be coup de gr&Atilde;&cent;ce?

If you are a zipper geek, then&Acirc;&nbsp;ZipBuds (http://www.zipbuds.com/) might be the headphones to get. The headphones simply &quot;zip up&quot; at the spot where your earphones wires would split off to each ear. When you have the headphones on your ears, or if you are taking them off to put away, just pull up the zipper and the cords will come together. You can then put the earbuds in your bag.
Get ZipBuds at Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/mn/search/?_encoding=UTF8&amp;tag=geekazine-20&amp;linkCode=ur2&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=390957&amp;field-keywords=lil%20wiz&amp;url=search-alias%3Daps#/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias=aps)(https://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=geekazine-20&amp;l=ur2&amp;o=1)
ZipBuds start at $39.99. They come in multiple colors, and you can also get replacement earbuds in multiple colors, too. You can also check out ZipBuds L.A.B. select, L.A.B. Choice and L.A.B. prime series of over-the-ear headphones with 38 mm to 50 mm drivers for that sound you desire.

<title>Zinio: Magazine Subscriptions for iPad, iPhone</title>
				<link>http://play.callisto.fm/podcasts/by/geekazine/in/Geekazine-Video-Pod/episode/Zinio-Magazine-Subscriptions-for-iPad-iPhone/</link>
<description>Jeanniey Mullen joins Todd for the TPN Live CES coverage. She is from Zino - a company that gives you Magazine subscriptions and single issues on iPad.

If you want to read the new magazines, Zinio has the current issues. If you want to look up old issues, Zinio has a large archive. Zinio also has issues that have slight movement. For instance, the people on the covers are moving around.

You could also do the crossword puzzles before someone else does.

There are many enhancements for Zinio&#039;s electronic Magazines out there. You can also get subscriptions on more than the iPad and iPhone. Rolling Stone, Men&#039;s Journal, Cosmopolitan, Us, Star, National Geographic and more are available. Best part is when the issue is available, you don&#039;t have to walk to the mailbox to get it.

Zinio also has books if you want to keep all your subscriptions in one area.

<title>Zigbee Alliance Controls your Wireless World</title>
				<link>http://play.callisto.fm/podcasts/by/geekazine/in/Geekazine-Video-Pod/episode/Zigbee-Alliance-Controls-your-Wireless-World/</link>
<description>We have smart phones, smart meters, smart fridges, smart washers, smart cars and more. We need a central hub to collect and report the Eco-footprint. That is where the Zigbee Alliance comes in.

A device (works with most homes) creates a central hub to pair with and communicate to these smart devices. That way if a fridge is using too much power, you can reconfigure when it gets defrosted, when it runs.

The Zigbee Alliance is working to make this a standard. Some appliances already have the Zigbee connectivity. GE is working with Zigbee standards (http://www.geekazine.com/video-pod/general-electric-ge-neucleus-monitor-smart-meters) - as shown in our live video coverage.

				<title>Zeo Teaches How to Sleep</title>
				<link>http://play.callisto.fm/podcasts/by/geekazine/in/Geekazine-Video-Pod/episode/Zeo-Teaches-How-to-Sleep/</link>
<description>Studying sleep patterns can be a key to learning how to sleep better. That is what Zeo is all about. Last year (then called MyZeo) we interviewed them (http://www.geekazine.com/video-pod/special/my-zeo-is-your-personal-sleep-coach-for-a-better-nights-sleep-ces-2010) and found out about the system. This year they are back with a stronger direction.

Zeo is a personal sleep coach. The best way to do it is find out how you sleep. While you sleep, a headband tracks your brainwaves. Zeo will then record and report that to get a score.

REM is the best type of sleep. Therefore, learning how you sleep is how you work towards better sleep. This helps with overall health.

Weight loss, alzheimers, stress and more are better ways a good night&#039;s sleep can help.

Zeo cost $199 and is available at Amazon and Brookstone.
