Nashville Tech Feed #25 - Radio Tech and Moontoast Social Commerce
We have another big episode this week featuring Radio Tech and Social Commerce. Co-host Lucas Hendrickson returns from vacation just in time to have a great discussion with Lt. Dan Buckley from Production Director and Request Hour DJ on Nashville’s very own Lightning 100. The beloved Radio station has relaunched online with an amazing website and with plenty of social media connections to boot. Dan gives us the scoop how it’s going and what they have learned. Before he has to go he gives a heads up on the very popular Live on the Green. After all the Radio Tech goodies we switch over to the new world of Social Commerce. Marcus Whitney co-founder and CTO of Moontoast joins us with what they have going on with the Moontoast product and how they partnered with Big Machine Records using social commerce to launch Taylor Swifts new album. Later Marcus turns the tables on us and where he gets us Lucas and myself to discuss the future direction of the Nashville Tech Feed. Is it better to go wide or niche? One show feed or multiple? Finally we end with our “What We’re Consuming” where Lucas drops news on 2010 Barcamp Nashville. (1hr 24min point). Near the end of the show Marcus mentions the acronym GTD for those like me who didn't know what that means here you go - Getting Things Done.
